The Houston Texans host the Seattle Seahawks in a non-conference match up.
In their last games the Seahawks beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 45-17 covering that lofty 20 point spread, while the Texans got thumped by the Baltimore Ravens 30-9.
The Texans rank 9th in both passing offense and rushing offense, but they could not get anything going in the loss to the Ravens. QB Matt Schaub only passed for 194 yards with 0 TD and 1 INT and Adrian Foster only rushed for 54 yards.
The Seahawks rank #1 in the league in run defense and 12th in pass defense.
Seattle RB Marshawn Lynch (201 yards 2 TD) is only averaging 3.4 yards per carry and will be facing a Houston run defense that has only allowed 1 rushing TD this season.
This season the Texans are 1-0 at home and the Seahawks are 1-0 on the road.

Texans @ 49ers
Our Selection : The Texans haven’t been able to put it all together this season allowing big plays after big play. What they have been able to do though is win the game on the stat sheet compiling more yards than their opponent in each game this season. That’s usually a good sign that it’s only a matter of time before every facet of their game is in order. We think this is the week that happens. The Seahawks are maybe a little full of themselves after embarrassing the 49ers in Week 2 and following that up with a game vs. the sad sack Jaguars who they scored upon at will. They now go on the road to take on a team that should be fully motivated after the Ravens fiasco last week.
