San Francisco 49ers vs. New Orleans Saints Point Spread Pick
- Updated: November 7, 2014
Time: 1 PM EST Sunday November 9, 2014, FOX
The 49ers come into this game off of two consecutive losses and are starting to dig themselves a hole falling three games behind NFC West leading Arizona and have three teams ahead of them for the Wildcat spots.
New Orleans has won two consecutive games and three out of their last 4 and if not for a late collapse against the Lions they’d be riding a 4 game win streak. While the Saints have the identical 4-4 record as the 49ers they are in a much better position being in the NFL South where they are the division leaders.
On the betting front San Francisco has not been kind to their backers covering the spread in just three of their eight games this season. New Orleans is 4-4 on the season after a disastrous start has covered three straight. Versus the over/under line the 49ers are 3-5 while the Saints have been a cash cow for over betters with a 6-2 record.
These two NFC teams met three times in the last two seasons with San Francisco winning two of the games but New Orleans won last year’s battle 23-20.
In their last games the Saints beat the Carolina Panthers 28-10 and the 49ers lost to the St. Louis Rams 13-10.
This season the Saints are 3-0 at home and the 49ers are 2-2 on the road.

The 49ers appear to be a mess while the Saints are on a roll and should easily be able to extend the margin on the far from healthy SF defense. Lay the 6 points in what should be an easy victory for the home side.
