Ole Miss Rebels will be facing a seriously tough road game this week when they go into Death Valley to take on the LSU Tigers who appear to be finding its footing.
The weakness of the Ole Miss running game and the QB play and run defense of the Tigers could be either team’s downfall. This match-up will definitely pit the Rebels passing game facing an excellent LSU secondary. Ole Miss ranks 3rd in the SEC in passing offense while LSU tops the conference in pass defense.
QB Bo Wallace of Ole Miss has been amazing in conference play and hasn’t turned the ball over while being incredibly efficient spreading the ball around to 10 different targets in their four SEC wins.
While the Rebels have an excellent offensive game the Tigers are the best secondary that Wallace and company will face to this point. LSU is forth in turnovers in their Conference with 11 forced turnovers and 8 interceptions. The question here is can the Tigers create the pressure they need to force Wallace into making mistakes.
LSU’s secondary has only allowed 156 yards per game in the air and with Ole Miss’s weak running game this may pose a huge problem for the Rebels.

This is a trap game for Ole Miss with a huge game against Auburn looming next week and facing a LSU team that is gain confidence each week. We’re not going to call for an outright loss by Mississippi, but we don’t need that to get the cover. Look for this game to go down to the wire with a field goal being the difference.
