Our Selection : The Rockets have not lost at home this season and did look impressive early against Buffalo last week. However, they allowed 497 yards in the air to the Bulls and will now face one of the better passing units in the MAC.
The Huskies have one of the most balanced teams in the country on offense ranking 4th in total yards, 8th in rushing yards but also a solid 55th in passing. Turnover margin is another strength ranking 17th in the nation at +9 and losing the turnover battle in only one game this season.
Admittedly, the schedule hasn’t been the most difficult, but a road win in Iowa is worth noting and they did put away hot MAC rival Ball St 48-27 decidedly last week.
Northern Illinois has yet to lose and with a point spread under a field goal they’re the position we’re taking.
Take the Northern Illinois Huskies -2.5 at 5Dimes and get reduced juice on every play.
