The LA Kings look like a team of destiny after yet another game 7 win in overtime against the defending Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks. In game seven the Kings were fighting from behind most of the game down 2-0 early in the first period and came back to tie it and down 4-2 going into the 3rd and coming back to tie it regulation before ultimately getting winning goal in OT. That’s the main reason I’m going to fade the Kings here. The series against Chicago was a hard fought emotional battle that may still have a draining effect on the team. The Rangers come into this game well rested and while the extra time off may have caused some rust I think they’ll be up to the challenge. It’s not like New York doesn’t have some back numbers to back up a win here. They did win the last time they visited the Staples Center and have won 4 of their last 5 games as a visitor in the playoffs.
