Milwaukee Brewers vs. Pittsburgh Pirates Moneyline Prediction

Time: 7:05 PM EST Friday June 6, 2014 ROOT

Location: PNC Park, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

The Pittsburgh Pirates host the Milwaukee Brewers in a NL Central match up.

In their last games: The Brewers beat the Minnesota Twins 8-5 and the Pirates lost to the San Diego Padres 3-2.

After giving up 4 runs off grand slam the Brewers hit 4 HR to get the 8-5 win.

In the Pirates’ loss to the Padres San Diego only had one hit in the game and scored on a sacrifice fly, an error and a bases-loaded walk.

The Brewers are 8-2 facing the Pirates this season.

Baseball dimeline betting is the only way to go if you want to profit betting MLB games. Why risk $135 to win $100 when you can risk $130? Why get paid $125 for a winner when a winning bet on the very same game can give you $130?

Here are some additional handicapping angles to ponder:

The Brewers are 4-1 in their last 5 games against the Pirates in Pittsburgh.

In the last 7 games between these 2 teams in Pittsburgh the total has gone Over 5 times.

The Brewers are 6-1 in Kyle Lohse’s last 7 road starts.

In his last start Brandon Cumpton was shelled giving up 11 runs on 11 hits in only 3 innings.

Moneyline Prediction:

This will be Brewers’ starter Kyle Lohse 3rd start against the Pirates this season and he’s owned them. Lohse got the win in both games holding the Pirates to 8 hits and 2 runs in 15 innings. Quality outings have been the norm for the Brewers’ right hander who has 10 quality starts on the season. He hit a bump in the road at home versus the Orioles two starts back getting blown up for 4 runs but bounced back in a big way with a complete game shutout against the Cubs. Inexperienced Brandon Cumpton goes for the home team and he did pitch well in his only start there this season pitching 7 innings of 2 run ball against the Reds. Cumpton is winless on the season and is coming off of his worst start of his career where he was tagged for 10 earned runs in 3 2/3 innings. On paper we get the team with the better record, starting pitcher and offense playing a team they have beat 5 out of 6 games this season. It also doesn’t hurt that this will be Pittsburgh first game back after a 8 game West Coast trip. Take Milwaukee Brewers -116.
