Our Selection : Florida State’s defense has been exceptional since day one with only a little bump in the road at Boston College. The thing is the Seminoles haven’t played top offenses this season. Clemson would rank as one, but they were a shell of them former selves with more than a handful of skill players on offense out with an injury. That being said Miami is certainly not an offensive juggernaut. We expect the Hurricanes numbers to be resemble the 212 yards they put up against Florida earlier in the season.
The Seminoles are expected to get back solid RB James Wilder who was out versus NC state with a concussion. That’s all Miami needs is for Florida State and their 3rd ranked scoring offense to have more weapons available. The run game while very successful this season is not necessarily the strength of the Seminoles who have passed for 341.4 yards per game this season. That’s not going to bode well for the Hurricanes who have looked bad against the pass in their last two with both opponents airing it out for over 300 yards.
Yes it’s a huge number and yes this is against an unbeaten team.
