The Colts have a Jekyll and Hyde defense, as they have been great against the pass, but horrible against the run.

Point Spread Selection : It would be easy to just declare the Colts the better team here and leave it that. The thing is that this is the NFL where any team can win on any given Sunday. Realize that the Colts were outplayed for most of the game last Week against the Seahawks, but somehow managed the win. The victory that probably has them feeling a little too good about themselves. Overconfidence surely would not be something the Chargers would be feeling after their embarrassing road loss to the Raiders on Sunday night. San Diego finished the night -5 in turnovers and while you could say that Rivers was reverting to last season’s form with his 3 INT we’re not so sure about that. This week the offensive line while not completely back to health but is starting to come around with guard Chad Rinehart maybe being the only starter not on the field on Monday night. Ryan Matthews will be back as he practiced in full on Friday. We will be putting a little money on San Diego +100 on the ML, but our main play is going to be on the total. The Indianapolis Colts have scored an average of 27.8 points per game which ranks 6th in the league. The San Diego Chargers have also been lighting up the scoreboard with 25 per game. On the defensive side of things, the Colts numbers are skewed with one game versus the Jaguars and one versus the 49ers who’s offensive player injury list was extensive. They do sit at No. 5 in scoring with 15.8 PPG but 23 PPG excluding the SF and Jax games. The Chargers are an ugly 19th in scoring average with 25.8 PPG. Look for both teams to have no problem putting up points on the board and for this game to sail over the total. Take Over 50.5 points at 5Dimes and get reduced juice on every play.
