Denver moved to 5-0 with a 16-10 win over Oakland last Sunday. Leading 9-7 and with the Raiders driving, DB Chris Harris returned an interception 74 yards for the clinching TD. The defense held their third opponent to 13 points or less, forced 3 TOs and had 4 sacks. The defense continues to lead the way as the offense failed to score an offensive TD for the 2nd time this year. QB Peyton Manning was 22-35 for 266 yards and 2 picks. The ground game never got going (18-43) but they face one of the worst run defenses this week.

Cleveland outlasted Baltimore 33-30 in OT last week. QB Josh McCown threw for a team-record 457 yards on 36-51 pass attempts. He also tossed a couple of TD passes, one to TE Gary Barnidge (8-139-1) his new favorite target. They rushed for a little more than 3 ypc as that phase of the offense just hasn’t gotten going in 2015. The defense yielded 181 yards on the ground on 31 carries and remains one of the worst run defenses in the NFL. They will have their hands full with this defense, one of the best in the league.

Free NLF Pick

The Browns offense has been productive scoring 20 or more in four straight and on the season have a higher scoring average 23.6 than the Broncos 22.6. This game is all about match ups. Cleveland’s run defense has struggled this season allowing a 31st ranked 149.4 rushing yards per game. However, based on statistics you could argue that Denver has the worst rushing offense in the league ranking 30th in yards per game managing only 71.6 on the NFL’s worst 3.3 yards per carry. The Browns average only 88.4 yards per game rushing and face one of the better D’s against the run in Denver’s 5th ranked run unit, so it wouldn’t be a reach to predict that both teams will have to fight for every yard on the ground. So this game should come down to who can pass better and that should be Cleveland. The Broncos have OL injuries and without a running attack will struggle to get protect Peyton. The Browns have passed for over 300 yards in three straight and appear to be getting better each week. The home team can win this game.
