College Football Picks – Sharp Action
The public are a strange breed. It probably wouldn’t be a reach to say that 99% of the public picks the ATS side without doing more than 5 minutes of handicapping. In fact a decent amount of public betting picks are based on ESPN highlights from the previous week!
The sharps on the other hand have years of experience betting college football games and in many cases decades. In an average football week the pro would put in 40+ hours of research until every possible angle has been analyzed. So, you don’t have to be a brain surgeon to realize that knowing where the wiseguys money is landing is the place where you want to be. Now, most of you would have no clue on how to find what bets the sharps are placing. That’s where we come in.
By researching the consensus sites around the web we can come up with what we believe is an accurate view of what teams the public money is landing on. If the sharps were sitting out or playing the same side the line would move in the opposite direction of the public. If the line holds or goes in the direction of the public we would know that the sharps are on the opposite of the public.
Each week during the college football season we will list the games that we think are sharp action games.
