My first thought on this game was the over with both teams able to put up points, but none of the books have posted up a line at this point in time. There is no argument that the Cougars haven’t played as tough a schedule as the Rebels with the 75th ranked schedule compared to Mississippi’s 49th. They also don’t have many marque victories to hang their hat on with really only the win over their conference foe Gonzaga as their only quality win. Ole Miss was certainly not playing their best basketball of the season down the stretch with 4 losses in their last 5 games, but did have some quality wins over Cincinnati, Oregon and Arkansas and took Kentucky to OT before losing by 3.
