May was shelled in his first outing of the season giving up 5 runs in 5 innings of work and last season he faced the Indians at home and took a loss after giving up 7 runs in only 4 innings. However, he did pitch well in a win over the Indians in Cleveland last season. House ended last season en fuego with an ERA of only 1.45 and went 3-0 in his last 5 starts. However, he had a less than stellar outing in his first start this season when he gave up 6 runs and walked 4 after getting yanked in the 2nd inning.
Hard to believe I am still going with the Indians with a pitcher in House that has an ERA of 40.50! The reason is the Cleveland bats will get to May and House has had success of the Twins as of late. He has only allowed 2 runs with 18 strikeouts in going 3-0 in his last 3 outings against Minnesota. I don’t think this game will be a pitcher’s duel, but the Indians will get the W and take this series.
