Total Line Pick
The Duke defense was solid and could be considered a team strength over the later part of the season. They held all but Miami (30 points) and Florida State (45) to 25 or fewer points per game in their last 7 games. Admittedly, Texas A&M’s SEC opponents are a whole far superior to the majority of the teams in the ACC. However, the defensive play in the SEC and the overall talent saw a drop off this season. Mizzou and LSU held the Aggies high powered offense to 21 and 10 points in the final two games of the season. We can’t see any reason to not believe that the Blue Devils wouldn’t be diligent in going over their game plans and having some success slowing the Aggies down.
