The Oregon Ducks are the public choice here and why not? Before getting blown out by UCLA the Ducks had won 8 straight including nice wins over Arizona and UCLA. Oregon did struggle in January going 2-6 straight up, but 3 of their losses were by a combined 8 points. That being said, BYU may surprise here. The Cougars record away from home is not so impressive 8-10, but they were 3-2 in neutral site games. Some may think that this game may be a big step up in class for BYU, but keep in mind that these two met back in December in Oregon with the Ducks getting the narrow 4-point win in OT. That game marked the third time that the Cougars tipped off against a Pac-12 team where they held their own beating Stanford but losing to Utah in the other two. BYU also had games against Big 12 conference winner Iowa State (lost by 2) and unbeaten Missouri Valley conference champion Wichita State (lost by 13).
Take the Brigham Young Cougars + 5.5.
