Baltimore Ravens vs. Denver Broncos Betting Odds

Time: 8:30 PM EST Thursday September 5, 2013, NBC

The Denver Broncos host the Baltimore Ravens in an AFC match up. This is a rematch of the 2nd round of the playoffs last season when the Ravens beat the Broncos in 2OT.

Last season Payton Manning led a Denver passing offense that ranked 5th in the league. With the addition of WR Wes Welker in the off-season the Broncos now have 3 WR that had over 1,000 receiving yards last season.

The Broncos ranked 3rd in the league last season in run and pass defense, but they will be without defensive leader LB Von Miller (suspension) and LB Elvis Dumervil (off-season loss), who combined for 29.5 sacks this season.

The Ravens made some good moves in the off-season, especially picking up LB Elvis Dumervil, but they lost LB Ray Lewis to retirement, traded WR Anquan Boldin, and lost free-agent Ed Reed.

Both teams were 2-2 in the pre-season.

Last season the Broncos were 7-1 at home and the Ravens were 4-4 on the road. While the Ravens were only a .500 road team last season they were 2-0 on the road in the playoffs with wins in Denver and New England.
