Our Selection : So we’ve been on Baltimore for their last two losses in games that they could have/should have won, but have fallen short on both occasions. The run game that did look decent against Miami has disappeared again. They had a bye last week and the Ravens were certain to make fixing the run game a priority in practices. They do get the Browns this week who have allowed over 100 yards to their opponents in 4 straight games.
The Browns offense sure looked better with the change to Jason Campbell. The 283 passing yards by Campbell was the most allowed by the Chiefs this season. If Campbell can come anywhere near that total this week it will be a long day for the Ravens secondary. Cleveland like Baltimore has not been able to run the ball with any consistency this season, but do face the Ravens’ 13th ranked Run D, but that unit has been gashed for 140 yards or greater in 3 of their last 4.
Look for both teams to have enough success in the run game to allow the QBs enough time to go to their speed receivers. The Ravens have played to the over in 3 of their last 4 games and likewise for the Browns. We feel that trend will continue this week.
