Money Line Pick:
Sure Pittsburgh starter Vance Worley has been on a roll with 8 QS in his last 10 starts, but he is coming off arguably his worst start of the season. The Pirates are playing their first game at home after a disastrous 0-5 road trip. Atlanta’s Ervin Santana like Worley has been pitching well with 8 QS in his last 10 and will be making his first career start against Pittsburgh which historically is an advantage for the pitcher. The Braves have won three straight and did it over arguably the best team in baseball the Oakland Athletics. They will have to break an ugly an 8-game road losing streak, but keep in mind 4 of those games were decided by 1 run. Hitting was an issue in those games which may suggest an under play here, but I’m going to go with the hot team here and lay my money on a small road dog tonight.
Take the Atlanta Braves + 103
