Braves starter David Hale pitched well in four early season starts before being moved to the BP when he allowed 6 runs over 23 1/3 innings. His last start of the group on April 26th vs. Cincinnati was very impressive allowing just 2 hits and 1 run over 8 innings. He hasn’t started since then though and hasn’t pitched much out of the bullpen since get tagged for 7 runs in 3 1/3 over two outings back on the 16th and 18th of July going 2 innings on the 18th and 1/3 on the 22nd. The Phillies bring up Sean O’Sullivan from Triple A where he has a tough go of it going 3-6 with a 4.31 ERA in 15 starts. An Over play is tempting for this game, but Under favoring Umpire Paul Schrieber is behind the plate so my money is going to go on the Braves. Take Atlanta Braves -120.
